About This Site

Grid Poet (move37.app) is a non-commercial, educational project that visualises the German electricity grid using publicly available data and AI. It is operated by an individual as a personal project.

Data Sources & Licences

• Grid data (Germany): SMARD (Bundesnetzagentur), published under CC BY 4.0.
• European market data: Energy-Charts (Fraunhofer ISE), published under CC BY 4.0.
• Weather data: Open-Meteo, free for non-commercial use.
• Text generation: Claude (Anthropic).
• Image generation: FLUX.2 Pro (Black Forest Labs).

Privacy Policy

This site does not use cookies, does not use tracking scripts, and does not collect personal data. No analytics service is embedded. Server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) are retained for up to 14 days for security and debugging purposes, then deleted. No data is shared with third parties.

Aggregate visitor statistics (daily page view counts, unique visitor counts, popular pages, referrer domains) are derived from server logs and displayed publicly on the Stats page. These aggregates contain no personal data — only totals are retained, never individual IP addresses or browsing patterns.

The site is hosted on a Hetzner Cloud server in Nuremberg, Germany. All data processing occurs within the EU.
